Principles Applied in Data Processing
In processing your personal data, we apply the following principles:
- Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency: We will always require your consent for processing your personal data for one or more specific purposes that we will inform you about beforehand with absolute transparency.
- Data minimization: We will only request data strictly necessary for the purpose(s) required. In our case, only the logistical data necessary to facilitate treatments during your travels.
- Storage limitation: We retain data only for the time strictly necessary. For clinic intermediation, data flows as a secure conduit without permanent storage on our end (Forward-Not-Store Principle - Art. 25).
- Integrity and confidentiality: Collected data is treated in a way that ensures security, confidentiality, and integrity, preventing unauthorized access.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to stored data, rectification or erasure (Right to be Forgotten, Art. 17), limitation of processing, opposition to processing, and data portability.
If you have a community account, you can exercise the most common rights yourself from your Account page: Download my data exports your information (data portability), and Delete my account erases your account and personal data (your past posts are kept but anonymized). For any other request (or if you do not have an account), send your request with a copy of a valid official ID to our Contact Email. You also have the right to effective judicial protection and to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
Purpose and Legitimacy of Processing
The legal basis for processing your data is your explicit and unequivocal consent.
- Contact Forms and Clinic Inquiries: We request logistical and contact data to forward inquiries to Clinics. We act as a conduit; your data is redirected to the selected clinic and not stored as medical records on our servers.
- Community and Forums: Users registering via Google or Email consent to storing authentication data for app access. To protect privacy, only chosen nicknames are visible. Sharing sensitive medical information is prohibited.
Data Recipients and Security
Your personal data will not be transferred to third organizations, except for the explicit transfer of your data to the Clinics selected by you to coordinate requested logistics. The user assumes that these independent centers will be subject to their own local privacy regulations upon receiving the contact. Our website is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase and Netlify.
Analytics and Cookies
When browsing the website, non-identifying data may be collected (such as pseudo-anonymized IPs or basic geolocation) to analyze trends and system accessibility. This aggregated data does not allow direct individual identification.
Acceptance and Consent
As a User of this Website, you declare to have been informed of the data protection conditions, accepting and explicitly consenting to our processing of them (especially regarding the logistical forwarding of this data to your chosen destination clinic) for the purposes indicated. To use our forms, you must previously accept (via a non-pre-ticked checkbox) all conditions of this text.
